Definition

E-procurement. (Electronic Procurement) It is a tool for managing the procurement with the integration of the vendors in a business-to-business (B2B) relationship.

It integrates the Procurement processes, cuts transaction costs for buyers, and simplifies the workflows for vendors and the access to the market.

The e-procurement includes a set of technologies, processes, operations, and organizational procedures for the acquisition of products and services online through the opportunities offered by the development of the web and e-commerce.
