Definition

A GHG Project Additionallity Tests are a number of possible assesments that can help determine whether a specific GHG Project meets GHG Project Additionality.

The GHG Protocol indicates (but does not require) a number possible GHG Project Additionallity Tests[1] as follows:

  • Legal, Regulatory, or Institutional Test
  • Technology Test
  • Investment Test
  • Common Practice Test
  • Timing Test
