The City of Akrons website and internal systems were hacked by a foreign group. Files with 47,452 entries were posted online. Names, Social Security numbers, account numbers, credit card numbers, credit card expiration dates, addresses, and other information were in the files. The hacking attack appears to be part of an organized international effort to hack into various U.S. government websites. (English)
